I joined AUCTANE in 2016. Since then, I have had the opportunity to get to know the company from the perspective of various positions: Technical Account Manager, Carrier Integration Manager and Carrier Planning Manager.

It is very valuable for me – to be able to learn something new from the great specialists I work with. In my current role, I am responsible for planning the work of teams, and dealing with orders from our clients – both online sellers and couriers. My task is to organize the work of teams in a way that will take into account the priorities of individual tasks and will be effective at the same time. Taking care of planning, I also ensure a good flow of information and streamline the process by eliminating information errors, and automating reports and analyzes.

After working hours, I walk (often with my dog), ride a bike, and most of all – dance. A few years ago I got hooked on dancing and it stuck with me. At that time, I learned that ‘partner dancing’ is actually a demanding sport. It teaches perseverance, cooperation and creativity – I design, acquire materials and decorate costumes in which I dance. Putting 10,000 stones on a dress can really relax you.

I appreciate the time spent with cool people. Family and friends + delicious food is a recipe for a great time. If I have some space during the day, I enjoy devouring historical books – especially those about ‘less formal’ history.

I am a Team Leader in the Unicorns development team. I have been working at AUCTANE for over 10 years.

My daily work consists mainly of orchestrating the work of the team, planning tasks, and ensuring that the work we have to do is carried out as well as possible, thus meeting all our team and AUCTANE standards. The second aspect is taking care of the development of the entire team, defining development paths as well as training and workshops so that everyone can develop in a direction consistent with their expectations. The last of the three most important is technical work on manufactured products in terms of analysis, design, implementation, and monitoring, both from the point of view of their planning and implementation.

After work, if possible, I try to spend as much time as possible with my three girls, and from time to time, to relax, maintain balance and break away from the keyboard, I run a small apiary where I have even more girls 😉 In my free time, I also buy games and books, which I am going to start “consuming” in the future because so far I don’t have enough time for them. I would like to add that I regularly cycle and run, but unfortunately this is not true 😉

I have been working at AUCTANE since 2012. First in Customer Support, and then, after 5 years, as Database Engineer. My main task is to prepare new database solutions, take care of the proper functioning of our systems, consult with development teams regarding the prepared solutions and database scripts, and support the Customer Support team in analyzing the problems reported by our clients. I also conduct internal training, teaching new employees of the AUCTANE team about databases.

In my work, I appreciate the fact that it requires constant development. Technology is moving forward all the time, so we can’t stand still. Fortunately, I surround myself with people who share my passion for technology and self-education. This makes it easier to stay motivated for further development.

What do I do to cope with everyday work? I get on the motorcycle and go straight ahead, only at intersections wondering which direction to take. Ever since I got on the motorcycle, I began to perceive the world differently; history has become more interesting, nature more beautiful and conducive to reflection. I also started to meet interesting people who share my passion: at meetings, a lawyer is not a lawyer, a doctor is not a doctor, and a programmer is not a person sitting in front of a computer all day.

I have been working for AUCTANE since 2014. After my adventure with studies in Poznań, I decided to return to my beloved Zielona Góra to take up the challenge of creating HR in an IT company. Thanks to amazing people with a passion for development, an insane sense of humour and a great sense of teamwork – recruitment, training, development programs, organizing interesting events or cooperation with the local IT environment is pure pleasure for me. Do you know this feeling when you get up to work with a smile in the morning? I have this pleasure and recommend it to everyone.

Just like my job, my hobby wouldn’t exist without my team. I have been involved in volleyball for many years and I am very happy that the company has so many people with whom I can play every week! We are still a bit short compared to our national team, but it’s not only about sport, but also about providing yourself with a regular dose of laughter.

At AUCTANE I have been working as a Project Manager since 2016. I make sure that the client’s needs are met by our teams within the specified time and budget. My responsibilities include: developing a project plan, presenting reports, delegating tasks and escalating problems. However, communication is essential for the success of the project and satisfactory cooperation, which is primarily based on building relationships, effectively discussing tasks, and deciding the direction of work with the participation of the project team.

After work, I use every free moment to spend it outdoors with my family. We ride a bike a lot – it’s not only our hobby but most of all a way of everyday activity, a communication tool. Since we are not indifferent to environmental problems, we are able to give up comfort and we travel by bike almost all year round. On weekends, we cover longer routes for recreational trips along more attractive forest paths. It happened that we cycled directly from Zielona Góra to the mountains.

It is not only an easy way to stay in shape and get away from the everyday hustle and bustle but also to spend time together and discover picturesque, less frequented places, away from civilization.

I have been working at AUCTANE since 2005. I started in a small company with a dozen or so people, and today I am part of the Stamps group as Director of Carrier Operations. I am responsible for a team of analysts, implementation and planning of courier integration. Together with our teams, we strive to make the system integrations between our customers and couriers as short as possible and the least noticeable. We also care for good relations with couriers and optimization of all related areas.

A young, committed team, willing to change and come out with interesting ideas and initiatives is the source of my pride. They are great professionals, but also great people.

I spend my free time with children, but I also find time for hobbies: learning Spanish, kettlebell or my greatest passion, which I share with my older son – Defendo. These are self-defence techniques that draw from many different combat systems. Defendo allows me to let go of bad energy, after work or after doing homework with my son. It gives me a sense of control over my own body, strength, satisfaction and greater control of my emotions, which is useful both in my private life and in a challenging professional life.

I am part of the Platform Engineering team. Working here, I take part in the design, implementation and maintenance of our cloud computing systems. Everything is managed from the level of the code (PowerShell, bash, Python, Groovy) to ensure smooth and continuous operation 24/7. I also maintain cloud computing so that it meets all business requirements such as scalability and security. All this is based on the latest technologies: Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Serverless, New Relic and many others.

Since nothing stands still in the world of technology, together with our team we are constantly looking for new solutions and implementing them where they will have an impact on efficiency or reduction of technical debt.

After work, it’s time for exercise and a large dose of adrenaline in the form of a bicycle enduro. During the week it’s a tour around the local hills, and on the weekend – trips to the mountains in search of beautiful views and the wildest and steepest paths.

I have been working at AUCTANE since January 2022 as Requirements Analyst. My job is to collect and verify data on services and systems offered by couriers and carriers. My tasks also include preliminary estimation of what solutions should be implemented and determining the challenges posed by a given integration. Working in this position requires the ability to ask specific, detailed questions and provide precise answers.

I devote my free time to the pursuit of my passions. I have some of them, but the most important is the kettle. For me, the best way to relax after work is strength training. It allows me to clear my mind, calm emotions and reduce stress perfectly.

I joined AUCTANE in 2020 as a student at the University of Zielona Góra. My goal was to get into a 3-month internship. After the interview for the position of Customer Support Engineer, I immediately received a job offer for a student vacancy. After three months, I received a contract for a longer period. So you can say that I came to the internship, but got a job instead 😀

My time at AUCTANE flies very quickly, the great atmosphere created by people, as well as the working conditions made me learn a lot about the IT world in over two and a half years. I really enjoy helping our clients and analyzing problems. Thanks to this, and thanks to my commitment and willingness to develop, I was able to obtain the position of a senior.

After working hours, I love spending time with my friends. Joint trips, parties, house parties and bonfires are always great opportunities for having fun with loved ones. My hobbies are also football and billiards. On the pitch, I run with a whistle and give players cards for ‘bad behaviour’ during the match. Yes, I am a football referee and I’m doing well, I referee games in the third and fourth league.

Playing pool has also been my passion since I was a child. For several years I combined professional football training with billiards. When I was 17, I decided to put my soccer shoes on the hangar and devote all my free time to training at the table. It paid off and I was able to fulfil my dream by winning the Polish Junior Championship medal. In total, I won 3 of them (one silver and two bronze).
