AUCTANE is a team, not an organization. Everyone is equal, regardless of their position. We operate for business and on a global scale. Over the years, we have developed a fully proprietary product that is not only impressive in terms of its size. It is a mature platform, which is constantly developed and gives our clients great business value. We are very proud of it and we are constantly working on its improvement. Therefore, we have naturally developed procedures that allow us to do so. Double checking – this is our number one rule. We write unit tests, do testing on many levels, and check correctness at various stages of work.

Time at AUCTANE goes fast. Thanks to the great atmosphere created by people, as well as the working conditions, in over two and a half years I have learned a lot about the IT world.

Our clients notice it, saying that we know our job. No wonder – the specialists who built our platform from the beginning are people with many years of experience who know our product by heart. And they share their knowledge willingly. With such authorities, we feel that nothing is impossible for us. We are able to fulfil every customer request, and never use the word “impossible”.

Every working day we implement our favourite motto: the sky is not the limit. How do we do it? It’s easy. We reach for technologies that are hard to find in the local IT market. Many of the innovations we implement are only described in the literature. The authors of the tools we use – and they are global corporations – ask us for tests and comments on their products!

Development

Development is our middle name because there are plenty of opportunities related to improving qualifications, skills and knowledge – at various levels – at AUCTANE. From onboarding and training for tasks, through the culture of sharing knowledge between members of our large team, to participation in internal and external training, conferences and industry events. But that’s not all. As part of the so-called quarterly goals, each employee has a real impact on their development path. They implement it with the support of a leader who sets the direction of development, leaving the autonomy of execution.

Since we are working on our own product, the number of positions we need is huge and they do not necessarily involve programming skills. This gives you great opportunities when it comes to finding a suitable role and place in AUCTANE. Everyone has such a chance, because as one of the few local IT companies – we are specialists in internal recruitment. Regardless of the position you choose, working on our technologies and in a structure based on agile methods, you will become a specialist in your field on a national and global scale.

Development doesn’t stop here. As we operate internationally, at AUCTANE you will gain the opportunity to improve your language skills on a daily basis – our teams cooperate with branches in the United States, England and Spain. We try to approach each person individually and react to the situations we all face on an ongoing basis. The pandemic opened us up to remote work and flexible hours, but also sensitized us to the need of caring for our physical and mental health. Hence the idea for the Employee Assistance support program, which supplies our extensive medical package for employees and their family members.

Each of us can work from home on the company’s equipment. In our headquarters, we provided the best working conditions as possible: we equipped it with the best cafe in town, a fridge filled with snacks, places to relax, and even a shower for people who commute to work on two wheels or on their feet as part of a morning jog. What can we say, we like when our company is filled with people.
