About the role

As a Web Application Developer you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our web applications using ReactJS. You will collaborate with the Product and Design teams to ensure their vision of the applications are achieved.   This role will function as a core member of our software engineering organization working closely with other teams which provide services the web apps depend on.

Salary ranges for this role:

Associate: up to 10 500 PLN gross/month

Mid: up to 15 900 PLN gross/month

Senior: up to 26 000 PLN gross/month

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
  • Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with comprehensive documentation.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the entire stack, from UI to server-side logic.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve our development practices.
  • Design interfaces to improve user experience
  • Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standard

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills.Proficiency in ReactJS, including React Hooks, Redux, and component-based architecture.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proven experience as a Web Application DeveloperDetail oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Able to work closely with other teams in an Agile Sprint model.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work.
  • Curious and driven with a problem-solving approach.
  • Experience with source control systems and branching strategies (e.g. Git)
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Demonstrates strong communication and team skills.
  • Displays a high degree of professionalism and contributes to the credibility of the company.
  • Can be productive and self-motivated in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Uses time efficiently, possesses a solid work ethic and customer-focus.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency, especially where customer impact and/or delays to shipping exists
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and a thirst for knowledge – we’re always looking for ways to improve our processes while continuing to produce high quality solutions for our customers.
  • Polish and English are required for this role

What will make you stand out?

  • Two to Three (2-3) years of experience in web application development using ReactJS. 
  • Understanding of single page app architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration
  • Experience with fully functional mobile applications
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.Knowledge of build tools and bundlers like Webpack or Vite.Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.

At AUCTANE we work in a hybrid model. This means that it’s up to you to choose whether you prefer office work, remote work or their combinations. Visits to the office will be necessary from time to time – you will set their frequency with your team. In the office, you have access to a workplace in a comfortable open space, fresh snacks and the best coffee in the city in our cafe and kitchen. You can use the relaxation rooms and our newly opened bookcrossing library. Working remotely, you use company equipment.
