About the role
The person in the position of Analyst is responsible for analyzing the solution of the courier, carrier and related services and systems on which he operates, including internal Auctane systems and the related requirements of the carrier market. As a result of the analysis, a technical specification is created, which is the basis for the activities of teams responsible for creating and testing carrier or platform integrations within all Auctane systems and brands.
As part of working with the team, the Analyst should verify and translate the business context of customer/market requirements, while verifying the requirements of internal systems and the requirements of the carrier. The analysis is aimed at identifying potential challenges related to the implementation of projects, such as: integration of courier and client systems with Auctane platforms, implementation of new solutions not yet existing within Auctane, but fully functional on the courier’s side, maintaining existing integrations, other changes related to maintaining cooperation with a courier based on Auctane products and maintaining a technical relationship with Auctane’s key couriers designated as Tier 1 (Diamond).
During the preparation of technical documentation, the Analyst should carry out extensive external and internal consultations. Taking into account the capabilities of Auctane systems and standards applicable in the company for the needs of the client and couriers.
What will you be doing?
- analyzing, verifying and documenting the requirements of couriers, customers, Auctane products, the market in the form of, among others: technical documentation,
- estimating the resources necessary to meet functional and nonfunctional requirements in the field of carrier and platform integration,
- preparation of carrier system requirements based on the analysis of system compatibility with our product,
- identifying challenges related to project implementation,
- Cooperation with internal stakeholders, e.g. Product Manager, Solution Architect, Project Manager, Engineering Coordinator, Software Engineer, Planning Manager,
- creating and proposing technical solutions in accordance with predefined requirements provided by internal and external stakeholders,
- supporting work on websites, creating functional specifications, managing technical documentation,
- regular monitoring of progress, monitoring risks and reporting emerging challenges,
- providing support to development teams during project implementation,
- mitigation of problems arising in the course of cooperation with the courier, suppliers and co-workers,
- building and maintaining good relations with customers and carriers,
- taking care of effective, clear and timely internal and external communication,
- active acquisition and updating of business knowledge related to the activities of carriers, customers and their logistics processes as well as the systems they offer,
- continuous development of your competences (in particular in the field of communication in foreign languages),
- taking care to improve daily activities in order to increase work efficiency,
- participation in the organization of the team’s work, especially the division of tasks, managing their implementation and responding to the current needs of the team in this regard,
- reporting problems or deficiencies in current products in the Auctane portfolio that appear in the process of collecting requirements,
- using at least the basics of SQL and Excel macros to collect data,
- Building basic test scenarios with courier APIs to verify the operation of third-party systems,
- using the company’s internal/external systems, e.g. JIRA, for reporting and tracking work progress, PostMan/SoapUI, for creating tests
- active attitude towards the expectations of stakeholders in order to solve emerging challenges and problems,
- carrying out other work-related orders of the supervisor aimed at the implementation of business tasks and goals of AUCTANE.
What are we looking for?
- At least 3 (three) years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to communicate and exert influence in order to achieve the progress expected by the company in the conducted processes,
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision from superiors

- predisposition to solve complex issues, which will be used in detecting potential problems and implementing solutions in a situation where these problems may delay the implementation of the schedule, negatively affect the budget and business efficiency of AUCTANE,
- the ability to work independently, set priorities, respond to dynamically changing requirements and understand the strategic goals of company and product development,
- fluent communication in English in speech and writing,
- Ability to build partnerships with business clients
- Ability to create business and technical documentation so that it is:
- exhaustive – it took into account all the elements important at a given stage of work on the product,
- precise – leaves no room for interpretation of the provisions contained therein,
- understandable – written in a transparent, clear, easy to understand way for people who will work with it.
- ability to understand and easily learn terminology functioning in the IT environment, related to software development,
- Ability to work in a team with particular emphasis on:
- sharing knowledge and experiences,
- providing assistance,
- using the help and experience of others,
- openness to discuss various solutions and to choose the optimal ones for the product development strategy.
- theoretical knowledge and experience in business analysis in the IT sector,
- ability to interpret technical requirements,
- Ability to work in an environment where technological and business decisions may change
- analytical thinking and the ability to actively solve problems,
- knowledge of tools used to document requirements, processes, communication within the working team, software testing, including: Confluence, JIRA, Postman, SoapUI, ELK, VPN, New Relic or their equivalent functionalities,
- the matrix of detailed competencies was provided for review through the IT systems adopted for this purpose in the company

At AUCTANE we work in a hybrid model. This means that it’s up to you to choose whether you prefer office work, remote work or their combinations. Visits to the office will be necessary from time to time – you will set their frequency with your team. In the office, you have access to a workplace in a comfortable open space, fresh snacks and the best coffee in the city in our cafe and kitchen. You can use the relaxation rooms and our newly opened bookcrossing library. Working remotely, you use company equipment.
