Metapackers at the Hedgehog Run 2019

On October 26, in Zielona Góra, the Hedgehog Run took place – an action devoted to homeless animals from the shelter. Since we are not indifferent to the fate of animals, we decided to support the event and encourage Metapackers to participate!

Hedgehog Run – for the seventh time for animals in need

The Hedgehog Run has become a permanent fixture in the Zielona Góra calendar of sports events. It takes place every year in the Park Tysiąclecia and gathers an increasing number of runners who want not only to take up the challenge, but above all – to support the shelter in Zielona Góra. The event is organized by the Initiative for Animals association.

This year, as many as 300 adult runners took part in the game. They covered a route of approximately 3 km. The youngest ones also stood at the finish line – as many as 200 children raced over the distance of 100 meters.

Since we know that Metapackers are passionate runners and people willing to support charitable initiatives, we decided to encourage them even more. For each photo in a Metapack T-shirt, we allocated an additional PLN 20 to the shelter in Zielona Góra.

The metapackers didn’t disappoint homeless cats and dogs! They appeared at the start, motivated their relatives and families to participate, encouraged their children. With what effect? In total, we collected PLN 640 for the city shelter! Congratulations to each and everyone of you!
