Fun, games and the art of time management

The global technologies we use are one thing. Another thing is to skillfully manage the time. We have organized an extremely important training in managing work for our employees to make it even more effective.
There is a method to this madness
The workshops took place at the GrapeTown Hotel in Zielona Góra, and were conducted by an experienced coach, Adam Pasternak from Training Project. We devoted a significant part of the meeting to board games, which may seem to be little related to the main topic. However, games and activities were just the starting point for looking for more creative solutions in a packed schedule of tasks.
We dealt with them perfectly – admitted the coach himself. This is how Adam Pasternak summed up our training:
This is my second time working with Metapack. Programmers are really a specific group. The one with whom I had classes about two months ago, in one of the games, did something that hasn't happened in the last 4 years, i.e. they played so well. And today's group again broke the record in another game, which has not been broken in 2.5 years. They also have their own very specific behaviors, but it is such a positive specificity. They handle many tasks very well.

Time and efficiency
Seriously, it was not a typical family board game, of course. It was a professionally developed simulation game that we worked on for two days in groups of 15. The goal was to manage the team in such a way as to complete all tasks.
All this to better manage our tasks over time, acquire the ability to perform them more effectively, and also – to organize cooperation with colleagues, team mates and superiors so that we can spend more time on our activities. For this purpose, we have learned a few simple but very practical tools that we can use at any time.
