What a day it was! At the University of Zielona Góra, we hosted the AUCTANE Open Day, during which we signed a renewed cooperation agreement with the university and officially reopened a laboratory under our patronage. We also kicked off the second edition of our student meeting series, #AmazingTechFreaks.

A 14-Year Journey of Innovation and Collaboration

On April 23, in building A-2 on Szafrana Street in Zielona Góra, we had the pleasure of signing an agreement to continue our partnership with the University of Zielona Góra — an institution we’ve been connected with for 14 years (not counting the time we spent there as students). Under this agreement, joint initiatives will take place at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, where the AUCTANE-sponsored lab has been reopened.

The lab is now equipped with modern computers and monitors that will support educational activities, group projects, and thesis writing. “We highly value our collaboration with AUCTANE in enhancing the teaching process,” emphasized Krzysztof Patan, Director of the Institute of Information Systems Control. He added, “Working with a company from the socio-economic environment gives these projects a more practical and engaging dimension for students. They reflect the real work of business analysts and IT professionals.”

After the official part of the event, the first lecture of the new #amazingtechfreaks series took place, titled “Error Handling and Logging – Insurance for Your App.” Adam Rapicki and Danuta Dygas spoke about the role of well-designed error messages in ensuring application stability and usability. The next meeting is scheduled for May 7. More details are available on our website: https://amazingauctane.com/amazingtechfreaks/.

Why has AUCTANE maintained such a long-standing presence at the university? It’s simple: we believe the university produces outstanding professionals. In fact, some of our team members are a testament to that. We hope the most talented graduates will also choose to join us in the future.

“We’re constantly looking for new talent, and there are many paths to achieve that — through the lab, internships, and placements. These give students the opportunity to gain experience while they’re still studying, so that by the time they graduate, they’re already fully prepared professionals,”

– said Paweł Przybyła, AUCTANE Principle Advisor & PL Site Leader
